Registration Policies

Registration, Program Fees, Payments, and Privacy Policy

Because we keep our classes small, we encourage early registration to ensure a place. The program fee is due in advance of the program. In most cases, the program fee includes course materials, breakfast, lunch, and refreshments at breaks. Please note that GSU reserves the right to cancel a program if the minimum number of registrations is not reached.

To register for a course, please complete the online registration form. You will have the option of either paying immediately using a credit/debit card or sending in a check or money order.

Georgia State University is committed to privacy. This website's registration or Sign Up Now form requires you to provide your full name and email address. You may also choose to provide optional details such as job title, company name, company mailing address, and phone number. At any time, you may opt out of receiving email communications from this website. Under no circumstances will your personal information be sold or rented to third parties. If you have any questions about this policy statement or the practices of this website, please contact the Senior Director of Executive Education at 404-413-7407.
Executive Education at Robinson offers discounts on program fees to GSU alumni, GSU faculty and staff, government employees, charitable non-profits, and to groups of three or more from the same company enrolling in the same program session. (Please note, discounts may not be combined.) Please check individual registration forms for discount rates available for individual programs.

Note: Discounts and special promotion codes must be entered at the time of your original registration. They cannot be requested after your registration.

Confirmation

After a registration has been submitted, the registrant will receive an e-mail confirming the registration. One week before the first class, each registrant will receive a second confirmation e-mail with directions to the class.

Course Credit

Upon completion of most Executive Education courses, an individual will earn a certificate of completion and Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The number of CEUs earned varies from class to class. Requests for CEUs must be received in writing to snelson30@dev.gsu.edu.

A 10% processing fee will be assessed for all refunds and credit adjustments. Exception to this processing fee are classes canceled by the college.

Transfer Policy

Transfers will be granted at no charge for requests received five (5) or more business days prior to the start of the program. Transfer requests received five (5) business days or less of the program start date will be assessed a transaction fee of 10% of the registration and must be paid at the time of the request. Transfer requests will only be granted one (1) time per registrant.

Refund Policy

A 100% refund will only be granted for cancellation requests received in writing 15 or more business days prior to the program start date. A 50% refund will be granted for cancellation requests received in writing 10 or more business days prior to the program start date. No refund will be granted for cancellation requests received within 10 or fewer days prior to the start of the program. No refund will be granted for no-shows or for partial participation.

Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to cancel a program at any time prior to the scheduled start date. In the unlikely event that a program is cancelled, the registration will automatically be transfered to the next scheduled program, or a full refund will be granted at your request, whichever you prefer.

Note: Written requests for transfer or refund must be sent via email to snelson30@dev.gsu.edu.

Substitution Policy

Substitutions may be made, without penalty, with written notice at least five business days prior to the program.

Course Modification

A program's content may be modified or the program leader(s) substituted due to unforeseen or emergency circumstances; however, the program's fundamental mission and learning objectives as stated in the program description will be retained.
